On Sunday mornings during our services we have wonderful volunteers ready to care for your child (Age 0-2) in our Nursery. You can drop your child off 10 minutes before the service starts or any time throughout the morning service. If you are a nursing mom, we do have a 'Mom & Baby' room at the back of our Nursery with comfy chairs and the privacy you may want for feeding your baby. Also, if you prefer to keep your baby with you but need a place to change a diaper or calm a fussy baby you are more than welcome to come into the Nursery to do so.
During our Saturday Night service, we do not provide childcare in the Nursery. The Nursery is available for parents to use but each parent is responsible for their own children.
When you drop your child off you must sign them in and provide the information requested on the sign up sheet. Parents also receive a vibrating pager, if you are needed for any reason during our services your pager will vibrate indicating that your assistance is needed in the nursery. At the end of the service, we ask that whoever is picking your child up returns with the pager given to you when you dropped your child off so that our volunteers know that your child is allowed to go with the person that is picking them up.
Plan to Protect:
At Rosewood Park, we care about your children and take our responsibility seriously when they are left in our care. We have an active program to reduce the risk of a child or young person being harmed or abused in any way. Our program, 'Plan to Protect' requires that we do our due diligence in choosing and training all our volunteers and we require them to provide us with a current police check every three years. Our volunteers are identified by a Rosewood lanyard/nametag around their necks.
Children love snacks and in many of our Children & Youth programs snacks are provided. If your child/children have any allergies please be sure to let us know when you drop them off.
