Meeting places are critical to both initiating and developing relationships, are they not? Everybody has to meet, somewhere.
At the Park, we have one prerequisite to meeting with you: COME AS YOU ARE.
You don’t have to dress up. You don’t have to be any particular age. We don’t care who you voted for in the last election. And please don’t feel the need to pretend about anything. Rosewood Park Alliance Church is a place where God meets people who are far from perfect.
That means anyone is welcome no matter where they are on their spiritual journey.
And it is that prerequisite that sets the tone for those who come to Rosewood.
We believe that God plays no favourites (you can find it in the Bible) and Jesus had this way of cutting through the clutter and meeting people where they were...putting people at ease by accepting them ‘as is’, in order to prepare their hearts for the Good News...which is, to quote a lifetime youth specialist, “God’s annoying love for imperfect people.” So know this if nothing else...you are welcome here, ‘as is’!
Don’t just sit in the chair. Spectators find it hard to grow at this church. Take a risk. Meet some people. Check out a group. Get involved. Go deeper. Life change is about momentum – little steps you take toward God build on one another and lead to extraordinary results. At Rosewood, always be looking for your next step.
At Rosewood, our weekend worship services are designed provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment that encourages and challenges people of all different walks in their spiritual journey continue on.
While worship can be engaged through various means, at Rosewood, we always strive for the creative. You'll find this ring true as we incorporate the best in relevant communication practices into our weekend services encouraging all who attend to participate in celebrating God.
Through music, multimedia, drama, stories from real people, and many other communicative elements, we strive to present God's message in a way that people may capture and remember.
