Welcome to Mothers of Preschoolers!

MOPS is all about nurturing every mother of preschoolers by meeting her distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ. MOPS strives to extend warmth and caring to moms of all backgrounds and lifestyles. We want to encourage the personal growth of each mom; aiming to assure her that she matters, that we love her and that she is significant.

At our meetings we discuss issues on child rearing, the home and relationships. The MOPS groups provide an opportunity to get together with other women going through the same challenges of life as you. Our theme this year is “Adventures in Mothering”, which is relevant to every mothers’ ups and downs of this ride called motherhood. We will be using the book The Mommy Diaries: Finding Yourself in the Daily Adventure as part of our discussion time.

If you are a mom parenting kids from birth through senior kindergarten, we hope you will find encouragement and a much - needed break at a MOPS meeting. We know that the years from infancy through kindergarten are filled with unique joys and challenges. Each meeting, you will have the opportunity to connect with moms just like you.

When you join our MOPS group, you will enjoy the relaxed and fun atmosphere of a program planned with you in mind.
We meet every Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. Please see our calendar of events for the types of activities we have planned for you and your children.

On your way in, drop off your child in MOPPETS – the structured preschool program geared for each developmental stage will delight your child. Stories, games, crafts and fun await your child each week. Our carefully screened volunteers care for your child in the well-equipped children’s wing of our church, where they experience love in a preschool-like setting.

Cost of MOPS – The registration fee, of $120, covers the cost of snacks, crafts, and curriculum. The registration cost has been divided between fall and winter/ spring months. Fall costing $55.00 and Winter/Spring costing $65.00. If you are unable to pay the registration fee, please talk with the Coordinator, Teena Neufeld, and arrangements can be made for any of our moms. Our desire is to meet the needs of the moms and the cost will not be an issue for any mom.
