Our School's Out programming runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm, and is designed for children in grades 1 through 8. Children are welcome to arrive between 7:00 am and 9:00am. At 4:00pm we put a movie on for the children to watch as we wait for parents to arrive.
At School's Out your child/ren will enjoy periods of structured learning and exploration as well as times of unstructured play and exploration. Your child/ren will have the opportunity to make new friends, build lasting memories, and have a ton of fun! Your child will enjoy:
- Games and sports

- Nature Activities
- Music and drama
- Off-site trips
- Special guests
- Much more!
We provide a nutritious lunch and two fun snacks each day; all of which are nut free.
Our site is located on the premises of Rosewood Park Alliance Church, at the corner of Courtney St. & Whelan Dr. Our four-acre site includes play areas for outdoor activities, classrooms for small group activities, and a gym for indoor games. We have air-conditioning for the warmer days and excellent heating for those colder days.
We are a multi-use facility which means that at different times our building is used by The Learning Tree Preschool, the School of Music, MOPS, and other Rosewood Park Alliance Church gatherings. Even though we are providing a community child care service, we do share a space with children who come on Sunday mornings to learn about God, so you will see a variety of Christian posters and crafts on the walls. We want parents/guardians to be aware that we will provide great toys, games, craft materials, and activities for the children. Some of these toys may reflect stories and ideas found in the Bible. We do not make an effort to put these away or hide them. They are all part of the mix.
Our staff participate in extensive training and are CPR/First Aid certified. Staff members are also required to submit a current Criminal Record Check. Your child will be in great hands!
